About Andrew

Andrew Zuckerman is an American photographer who was born in Washington, DC in 1977. He first interned at the International Center of Photography in New York. He then went on to study at the School of Visual Arts to study photography and film, where he graduated in 1999.

Much of his work has been commissioned for multiple brands throughout the world. In 2007 he completed his first film, High Falls, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and won best short narrative at the Woodstock Film Festival.

There have been 3 books published by Andrew Zuckerman. The first is “Creature”, a portrait series of animals. It was released worldwide in November 2007 to critical acclaim and is now in its fourth printing. “Wisdom”, a book, film, and traveling exhibition was released in October 2008 and is an ongoing production with multiple volumes made with the support of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. For the film Andrew photographed and interviewed the world”s most eminent elders, from Judi Dench to Nelson Mandela, creating a comprehensive account of their perspectives on life. The latest book, “Bird”, is a visual study of birds from the rarest to the most common and was released in October 2009.
